Bury Town have completed their second new summer signing as midfielder Ryan Horne has joined. He was with AFC Sudbury last season and started his career with Cambridge United. He has also had spells with Soham Town Rangers and experience of step 3 at St Neots Town in the Southern League. He joined Sudbury from St Neots in December 2017 and made 21 appearances for them in the Bostik North last season.

Ben Chenery said "I met with Ryan at the beginning of the week and I am very pleased that he was keen to join us. He got back to me quickly and we have agreed a deal and that shows that he wants to play for us. He is a player with experience at this level and the level above, as well as his time with Cambridge United. He will fit well within our team and I am looking forward to him joining us in a couple of weeks when we start pre-season training"

"Myself and Christian remain busy behind the scenes looking at players we want to bring in. This will take time but supporters will see a slightly new look squad come the start of the season which is no bad thing. The signing's of Ryan Gibbs and Ryan Horne show the direction we want to take the club in and hopefully we are able to bring in some more new faces in the next couple of weeks"

Ryan comes into the club at a time when two players from last season have decided to depart. Noel Aitkens is expected to join Leiston once compensation has been agreed and Tevan Allen has also decided that his future lies away from Ram Meadow and has joined Bostik North newcomers Coggeshall Town.
