Big incentive for Trophy Replay

Image result for fa trophyBury Town and Chalfont St Peter have been given a big incentive for winning through to the 2nd Qualifying Round of the FA Trophy, as Bostik Premier Division side Billericay Town await the winners of Tuesday's evenings match. Not only is there £3250 at stake for the winner, a trip to ambitious Billericay will be one to look forward to for both sides. Billericay have been setting the pace in the Premier Division under their manager/owner Glenn Tamplin who has invested heavily in the Essex club since taking over, and has transformed their New Lodge ground in under a year as well as assembling a squad of players from a higher level. He has plans to take the club to the Football League, and will be looking for his side to win the Bositk Premier Division in his first full season in charge.

Bury are still in the hat, but only just after a 95th minute own goal preserved their status in the competition on Saturday, the Blues fighting back from 0-1 down and 10 men to cling on to a possible place in the 2nd Qualifying Round.

The replay between the Blues and Chalfont St Peter will take place at Chalfont's Mill Meadow ground on Tuesday evening, kick off 7:45pm, with the winners away to Billericay Town on Saturday 11th November.
