Image result for bury town fcWould all supporters please note that the friendly match due to take place at Ram Meadow between Bury Town and Needham Market on Saturday 30th July has been postponed. The match was postponed at lunchtime today (Friday) by Needham Market for the reasons below:

Taken from the Needham Market Website:

"Due to a number of unforeseen availability issues I have had to take the tough decision to call off our game at Ram Meadow tomorrow.  I would like to unreservedly apologises to all at Bury Town Football Club and supporters of both clubs.  I would say that I believe that I had little choice as I have seven players who were unable to complete the match.  In addition ordinarily I would bring cover in from our second team but as they have been forced to start their league season tomorrow I refused to do this.

To finish with I would like to wish Ben, Christian, Russell and all at Bury all the best for the coming season and I hope they are successful in their quest to return to Ryman Premier level" - Mark Morsley

Bury Town would like to apologise to our supporters. The Club are trying to arrange a replacement match at Ram Meadow but have been unsuccessful so far. It may be the case that we try and arrange a game for Tuesday evening, 2nd August, we will update the website with any details.
