Bury defeat West Wratting

A youthful Bury Town side defeated Cambs League side West Wratting at Ram Meadow on Saturday afternoon. The Blues lined up with a number of Team Bury players and trialists, however they were helped along with the experience of Tevan Allen, Remi Garrett, Nick Ingram and Neil O'Sullivan. It was the visitors who took the lead after 19 minutes, but the Blues were level after 20 minutes through Tevan Allen. Bury moved into the lead before half time when Nick Ingram scored after 39 minutes. 

Bury controlled the play in the second half and youngster Ryan Gibbs gave the Blues a two goal lead when he scored from close range. West Wratting had a couple of chances to get a goal back as the game drew to a close, but Remi Garrett made no mistake from inside the box to slot the ball home and complete the scoring in the final minute. 

Bury Town now face a further two friendly matches this week, travelling to Ipswich Wanderers on Tuesday evening, kick off 7:45pm at Humber Doucy Lane, and then on Thursday evening, Mildenhall Town are the visitors to Ram Meadow.
