Suffolk Premier Cup



FOUR of this season’s Suffolk FA county cup finals will unfortunately now not be staged at Portman Road.

Ipswich Town’s possible involvement in the end-of-season play-offs has meant that finding suitable dates has proved impossible for the four scheduled finals.

Suffolk FA chief executive Laura Smith said: “It is with the regret of both ourselves and Ipswich Town Football Club that for many good reasons we will be unable to stage our normal four county cup finals at Portman Road this season as anticipated.

“With the club poised to reach the play-offs at the end of the season and followed very closely with staging the Barry Manilow concert, it has been impossible to firm up dates for the four games we would normally play at Portman Road. 

“In fairness to all concerned, not least the participating clubs and match officials, and to stop the uncertainty this is causing, it has now become necessary for alternative arrangements to be put in place.”

The four finals will now be played as follows:
